I never like Working on sundays and holidays, but once in a while it becomes un avoidable. However as a matter of routine it should must be avoided as it is bound to adversely affect employee productivity and motivation level.
Talk of compensation for working on sundays/ holidays is simply ridiculous. there cant be any compensation for the value time lost by family members and society.
